Gallopperiet, 6. juli – 31. august 2019. Mandag – torsdag kl. 14 -19,
fredag – søndag kl 12-20.

Med udstillingen ‘Den Permanente Samling’ på Gallopperiet- også kaldet
Stadens Museum for Kunst, præsenterer Ann Sophie von Bülow sin indsamling
af kunst- og kulturgenstande fra området Christiania. Udstillingen er en
simulering af, hvad der kunne udgøre kernen i en kunst- eller
lokalhistorisk samling for Fristaden.

Ideer om frihed, kvindekamp, fri hash, sociale og politiske forandringer,
er grundlaget for udvælgelsen – i et forsøg på at forstå og komme tættere
på hvad kollektiv identitet er, og hvordan den kan tage tredimensionel
form, og beskrive fortidens uhåndgribelige realitet.

Arbejderne bærer hver deres særlige historier med sig, og bliver på
udstillingen vævet sammen i et net af betydninger, som en form for fælles
hukommelse.
Genstandende, som alle har historisk betydning, er fortrinsvis i privateje
eller tilhører Christianias arkiv, og er helt exceptionelt udlånt til
denne anledning.

Værker af Skrot Anders, Svensker Anna, Annelise Bock, Ingrid Borum, Kai
Christensen, Ann Suzette Sadolin, Solvognens Kvinder, Jesper Sølling,
Hannah West, med flere, vises i et musealt destilleret billede, som
dokumentation af den kulturelle aktivisme i og omkring Fristaden.

Ann Sophie von Bülow (f.1987) er uddannet billedkunstner fra Det Kongelige
Danske Kunstakademi (2016), og grundlægger af det Det Kosmiske Hierarki
(2018-).

Gallopperiet, July 6th to August 31st 2019. Monday – Thursday 2pm-7pm,
Friday – Sunday 12pm-8pm.

Ann Sophie von Bülow presents ‘The Permanent Collection’ at Gallopperiet –
aka Stadens Museum for Kunst. The exhibition is a collection of art and
cultural artefacts from the area Christiania. The show is a simulated art
and cultural heritage collection, in what could be a future museum for the
Freetown Christiania.

Freedom, women’s rights, legalisation of cannabis, political and social
change, is the foundation for the selection. In an attempt to constitute a
broad understanding of what it means to consider collective identity, how
this shapes into 3-dimensional form and describes the pasts intangible
reality.

The works carry significant narratives interwoven in the fabric of meaning

as a collective identity.
The objects shown all has historical significance. From private collections
and Christianias Archive, these are rare and exceptional loans for this
occasion.

Works by Skrot Anders, Svensker Anna, Annelise Bock, Ingrid Borum, Kai
Christensen, Ann Suzette Sadolin, Solvognens Kvinder, Jesper Sølling,
Hannah West among others, is shown as a distilled image, and as a
documentation of the cultural activism in and around the Freetown.
